Tip: Make Grating Cheese Easier!

Quick post. I bought this big block of cheese (about 3-lbs!)! Haha! :) To use it in recipes, I got a cheese grater.
I cut off a chunk and then grate the cheese and store it in a Ziplock bag in the fridge.
Tip: It is easier to grate cheese if it is more firm. If your cheese is a little soft, then it will be harder to grate. If your cheese seems soft, put it in the freezer for 15-30 min., then grate away! :) I learned that from the Food Network.
Also if you have string cheese, you can break it into pieces to make shredded cheese for recipes.
Btw I also cut off some chunks to test freezing cheese, which I read about. Stay tuned for that post!
