Thank Your Mailman Day! Feb. 4!
Updated: Aug 29, 2020

Today is the day dedicated to thanking your mailman! I made a cookie that looks like an Air Mail Envelope as a thank you card. :)
Did you know?
"that in 1920, the United States Post Office banned sending children by post? "

"The first post office was in a bar. The very first post office in colonial America was established in 1639 in the Boston home—which was also a tavern that sold “stronge water”—of a man named Richard Fairbanks."
Check out this link from Reader's Digest for some more fun facts about the Post Office.

I used the Easy Sugar Cookie and Non-Royal Icing Icing that I wrote about in a previous post (link). I spread white icing over the whole cookie for the background. Then I took some icing and colored it different colors to paint on the details for the rest of the envelope. The cookie really was my canvas. :)

Give it a try! We are good at this!
