Super Easy M&M Egg and Chocolate Nest
Updated: Aug 27, 2020

This is a beautiful & super easy Easter or springtime snack or cupcake topper. 2 ingredients and 2 min. of active work. It could not be easier!
Ingredients/Supplies:
- Chocolate melting wafers
- M&M eggs
- Cooking spray
- Parchment paper
- Plastic Ziploc bag
- Scissors
1.) Spray cooking spray on a parchment paper on a plate or tray (You will put it in the fridge to set.)
2.) Melt your chocolate in a plastic Ziploc bag on defrost setting/50% power at 30-sec or 15-sec intervals.
3.) Right before you are ready to draw your nests, you snip the corner of the bag with scissors (you want a tiny hole). Not shown here, but these steps are detailed in the link below.
I first used melted chocolate and parchment paper to make designs when I made Chocolate Christmas trees from Shereka's World YouTube video.

4.) Draw your nest in melted chocolate. Make a series of irregular oval shapes as shown in the picture. You don't want them to be perfect; it looks better if the shapes are irregular.
5.) Put in the fridge to set -- probably at least 15-30 min.
6.) Put 3 M&M eggs in the middle of your nest.
That's it! You can tell it looks much better after it sets in the fridge compared to when I drew it. :) So you don't have to be too perfect with it. In fact, as I wrote above, it looks better if it's not perfect.
You can have this as a little snack on its own or it is a good cupcake topper; see below.
Give it a try! We are good at this!
