Shrimp Scampi Dip / Shrimp Scampi Day

This is Shrimp Scampi in a dip form. I love dips as you can see if you search "dip" on the website. Haha! :) It seemed like a fun twist on Shrimp Scampi, which is tasty all the time. Also, I had a fresh baguette, so it went perfectly with the creamy dip.

This was inspired by Shrimp Scampi Day and a Food Network recipe. I made ~1/3 or 1/2 half recipe.

Here's another Shrimp Scampi recipe I've tried.

What I used:

- baguette (one of those ready-to-bake loaves from the bakery section in the grocery store)

- frozen shrimp (thawed, ~4 oz.)

- 4 oz. cream cheese

- 2 oz. of butter

- minced garlic (instead of chopped garlic)

- lemon juice (I didn't have a real lemon to zest or white wine)

- sour cream

- grated parmesan cheese

- Chili pepper

- Kraft mozzarella

I put it in the oven to cook the shrimp and for everything to become melt-y and then I took out the bread too! Yum!

It's got all the flavors of Shrimp Scampi in a cheesy dip!

Give it a try! We are good at this!
