Nutella Puff Pastry Sunburst
This pretty dessert is super easy to make and only takes 2 ingredients! All you need is puff pastry and Nutella! It's a pretty dessert or a nice addition to brunch/breakfast or a sweet treat anytime of day.
It was inspired by #WorldNutellaDay!
What I used:
- Pepperidge Farms Puff Pastry
I let the puff pastry dough thaw, then I rolled it out. I preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
Then I used a plate to cut a circular shape -- that would fit on my plate. (I baked the small scraps -- as just plain puff pastry.)
Next I cut slits radially from the outer edge towards the center about 1 inch a part and also leaving about 1 inch untouched circle in the center -- like the middle of a flower or sunburst.
I spread Nutella on all the pieces. Then I twisted each slit I made -- and I twisted them all the same direction, meaning twist them all clockwise or counterclockwise).
Here it is all twisted -- already looks tasty! Haha! :)
I baked it for about 15-16 min. at 400 degrees!
That's it! Give it a try! We are good at this!
