Jambalaya with Chicken, Chicken Sausage & Shrimp / Poultry Day

You might see a shrimp, but there are 2 kinds of poultry in here, haha! :) Chicken and chicken sausage.

Poultry Day is March 19!


What I used: - Zatarain Jamabalaya Mix

- Chicken Breast (already cooked)

- Chef Aidell's Chicken Sausage (with roasted garlic and gruyere flavor)

- Private Selection Frozen Shrimp

I started the rice.

In a separate pan, to give the dish some more texture, I put some chicken in a little oil in a pan on medium / medium-high to make it a little crispy. I also brown the sausage and cut them into small pieces.

After defrosting the shrimp in cold water and then drying them off with paper towels, then I cooked the shrimp last for a few minutes.

I mixed it all together with the rice for a hearty jamabalaya!
