Halloween Bark

This is a quick post about how to make this super cute & super easy Halloween bark, which you can eat alone or use as a cupcake topper -- as seen in the thumbnail photo!

What I used:

- White chocolate melting wafers

- Wilton Halloween sprinkle mix (2 different kids for variety)

- Wilton Candy Eyes

- Baking sheet

- Parchment paper

- Cooking spray

If using as a cupcake topper, add:

- cupcake (obviously :) )

- Black, orange, green or purple frosting or whatever you like :)

I put some parchment paper on a baking sheet and sprayed it with cooking spray.

I melted some chocolate in the microwave on defrost setting at 30-second intervals. (You can also use 50% power setting. Perhaps my microwave has this, but I don't know how to do it, so I just use defrost setting. Haha! :) )

Then I poured it on the baking sheet and sprinkled some of the 2 kinds of sprinkles and also put some candy eyes in different places.

Then I put it in the fridge to set and harden for at least 30 min. (Right photo)

Tip: You can make 1 day or a few days ahead of whenever you want to eat it too!

Then I used a butterknife and cut it into and broke it into random sized shards. Look how cute it is! You can eat it just as Halloween bark.

The candy eyes make it look so spooky cute! :)

I also put it as a cupcake topper. I used vanilla frosting I colored black with gel food coloring to contrast with the white Halloween bark. The contrast in colors looks nice & festive!
