Getting the Most Posts/Videos in the Least Amount of Time
Updated: Aug 29, 2020
Here's an example of how you can use your time and resources the most efficiently and effectively to get the most posts and videos in the least amount of time.
Tip: Plan ahead and come up with some ideas for posts. This will save you time in the future.
Sometimes, it can be hard to come up with ideas for posts. You can save yourself a lot of time if you take a little bit of time and come up with several ideas for posts all at once.
Then, since I had planned ahead of what my posts/projects were going to be, I was able to do 5 projects for several different posts in ~2 hours.
I then posted them on the different dates in the future that I had scheduled.
Of course, when you plan ahead & schedule posts or videos, you can still do spontaneous posts or videos whenever. :)
This is a cooking example, but applies to other things as well. For example, if you give business advice, then you can think of 3 or 5 topics and then do all the posts or make all the videos at once and then post them in the future.
When I was planning ahead, there were some cupcake projects that looked cute that I wanted to try, so I decided to do them together. Now, when I plan ahead, I do the same thing thatI write about below. If there are projects/posts that I want to do with cookie decorating, I make a batch of cookie dough and then do a few different projects/posts with that batch of cookie dough.
I did the following 5 projects for several different posts in 1 activity session in ~2 hours. Check them out -- super cute! Links below the photos.
When you are making a post or video, you are primarily demonstrating the idea or creative part of the project, it doesn't matter if you make 12 cupcakes or 2 cupcakes. :) So you can make less. This is an example of being efficient with your resources. :)
I got all the ingredients/supplies together at once. Then I took separate photos of the different ingredients/supplies based on the projects. It was easier to get everything together and then take away/add some ingredients/supplies back for the different photos. It was super fast!
All ingredients/supplies for 5 projects/posts together.
I took things out of the photos and put them back in if they applied to that project.
Another example of being efficient during this activity session is that I made a big batch of white marshmallow fondant and then colored some of it with different colors based on the different project.
I took pictures as I completed each project and then put all the photos together for each project. Then I posted about them.
Give it a try! We are good at this!
