Geometric Candy Corn Cookies
This is an easy Candy Corn cookie design which would look nice on a Thanksgiving spread or on any fall day! I'm posting it for Candy Corn Day! :)
Candy Corn Day
"On October 30th, the country celebrates its favorite vegetable with National Candy Corn Day.
In the late 1800s, George Renninger of Wunderle Candy Company created candy corn. His sweet treat represented the bright colors of corn kernels. Originally, candy corn was yellow, orange and white. However, it wasn’t until1889 that the Goelitz Candy Company made the candy popular."
What I used:
- Circular sugar cookies
- Duncan Hines vanilla frosting
- Orange gel food coloring (just a touch for the orange cookie)
- Candy Corns
I used this sugar cookie recipe I wrote about before.
I put some frosting on the cookies and placed the candy corns in a geometric design. :) That's it! You could also use chocolate frosting with the Candy Corns for a Thanksgiving spread.
Give it a try! We are good at this!
