Garlic Brown Sugar Pork Chops
This was inspired by a butteryourbiscuit.com recipe on Pinterest! I just made a small portion for myself.
What I used:
- Pork loin (not shown)
- Brown sugar
- Chile flakes
- Garlic powder (I didn't have fresh garlic at the time)
I seared the pork loin on both sides (not shown). It was a thick piece of meat, so I thought it wasn't going to cook through and I would have to finish it off in the oven.
In an oven-safe dish, I added the ingredients for the sauce, a little butter, garlic powder, chili flakes, and brown sugar. I microwaved it for ~30 seconds to melt the butter.
I mixed it together with a spoon. I put the pork chop in the dish and then I spooned some sauce on top and put it in a 350 degree for ~7-10 min. to finish cooking the inside.
That's it! Yum, I wouldn't have thought to put sweet with the heat and garlic. :)
Give it a try! We are good at this!
