Updated: Aug 26, 2020
I made a Frog pancake for Save the Frogs Day!
Some fun facts about frogs and Save the Frogs Day are below.
Also how I did it is below. :)
Save the Frogs Day
"Frogs just don’t get enough love or enough recognition that certain species of them are in just as much danger of passing from the Earth as bees. Save The Frogs Day aims to raise awareness about these wonderful amphibians and everything they do for us.
If you have an abiding hatred of all things insect, then you should definitely be out there beating a drum for Save The Frogs Day!"
Fun Facts about Frogs:
Frogs absorb water through their skin so they don't need to drink.
7 ) A group of birds is called a flock, a group of cattle is called a herd, but a group of frogs is called an army.
8 ) The glass frog has translucent skin, so you can see its internal organs, bones and muscles through its skin. You can even observe its heart beating and its stomach digesting food.
9 ) There is a frog in Indonesia that has no lungs – it breathes entirely through its skin.

I used the same techniques as described in detail in my 3-D Christmas Tree pancake stacks post. I colored the pancake batter green and piped it out of a plastic bag.
I used a couple white candy melts and 2 brown M&Ms for the eyes. I kind of carved a red candy melt for a tongue and used an edible marker for the smile.
It's fun and easy and made me smile. :)
Give it a try! We are good at this!
