French Onion Cheeseburger
Updated: Aug 24, 2020

Here's an idea for a twist on a cheeseburger, French Onion Cheeseburger. It's like a little French onion soup with a cheeseburger.

What I used:
- Omaha Steaks burger patty
- Mozzarella
- Campbell's Beef Broth (had some leftover)
- Sauteed onions (As I have mentioned, to save time, sometimes I like to cook batches of onions and use them in different recipes. You can also cook them in the oven. Check out the link below.
- Onion powder (to amp up onion flavor)
- Brioche bun

For the french onion soup-like topping, I added the onions into the beef broth and I added some onion powder, then I microwaved it for about 45-60 seconds.
I made a burger on the stove as I describe in detail in this post.

Then I just spooned the some onion mixture onto the cheeseburger -- mostly just onions, no too much liquid, so it wouldn't get too soggy.
That's it! Give it a try! We are good at this!
