Fajita Chicken Fries
Updated: Aug 24, 2020
This Fajita Chicken Fries is like nachos with fries! :) This was inspired by a Twisted YouTube video, but I just used what I had at my place and made a small individual portion. It was a really tasty idea to mash up the two foods. Also, it's French Fry Day (see below)!
French Fry Day
"National French Fry Day on July 13th recognizes a staple food on menus across the country. It comes in so many different cuts and styles, there’s a favorite for everyone to enjoy!
French fries, also known as chips, fries, finger chips, or French-fried potatoes, are batons of deep-fried potatoes. No matter what we call them, they’re common fixtures at fast-food restaurants and are loved by all ages!"
What I used:
- Frozen Fries
- Bell Peppers
- Green onion
- Salsa verde
- Sargento Mexican cheese
- Sour cream
- Old El Paso Taco seasoning (not shown)
I baked some french fries actually. I guess they were not fried actually, haha! :)
I mixed some chicken Old El Paso Seasoning and then I microwaved it with bell pepper for 1 or 2 minutes until they were soft and warm. I added a tiny bit of water, maybe a teaspoon.
After the fries were done, then I assembled everything on the fries and microwaved it for 1 minute more, so the cheese could melt.
It was a tasty mash up of some tasty foods! Give it a try! We are good at this!
