Easy Mexican Hamburger Slider

This is a quick easy delicious Mexican twist on a
burger that you can make in a few minutes.
There is also a cute trick to make buns for sliders if
you don't have any small hamburger buns around.
I only had a little bit of ground beef left, so I made it into a slider, but you could make it a bigger too.
Ingredients:
- Ground beef (or ground turkey / chicken etc.)
- Old El Paso Taco seasoning or other Mexican spice mix
- Toppings (optional): cheese, salsa, sour cream, peppers, etc.
- White bread
Prior to putting it in the pan, I mixed a generous amount of the Old El Paso taco seasoning with the ground beef. I seared it on both sides for a couple min. each.
To make the small bun for the slider, I used a circle cookie cutter and cut out 2 pieces from one piece of white bread. I had seen similar tricks like this on different YouTube cooking videos.
In the photo on the left, in the pan with the burger is an easy cheeseburger taquito I made at the same time (see link).

This is optional, but tastes good. I toasted the bread in the same pan I cooked the burger in for about 15-30 sec.
I topped it with a little cheese, salsa and sour cream.
The little Mexican slider was easy to make and delicious! If you are making a bunch of sliders, you can easily make buns from a loaf of white bread you have around too.
Give it a try! We are good at this!
