EAFTI: Easy Spiral Domino Pepperoni Pizza Dip
Updated: Aug 29
I came up with this after watching dominoes videos on hevesh5's YouTube channel. Yes, dominoes inspired me to develop this easy recipe. I posted it on Innovation Day because it's an example of how you can be inspired by seemingly unrelated things and create something new -- like dominoes to a recipe.
These dominoes videos are relaxing to watch and pretty popular. For example, this spiral domino video has 88 million views!
You might just think it's tasty and not art, but this is fun. Like watching the dominoes falling is art to me, the way this dip comes together is also art. That's why I called it: Edible Art from the Inedible (EAFTI)!
It only takes 3 ingredients! This is also a low-carb recipe and depending on which tomato sauce you use or if you make your own tomato sauce, it can be keto.
- Marinara sauce
- String Cheese
1.) Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2.) Pour a layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of your dish.
3.) Cut your string cheese into little pieces ~5-10mm thick.
-- These will help your pepperoni "dominoes" to stand up in the beginning.
4.) Arrange your pepperonis standing up on the side and string cheese in a spiral formation starting from the center of the dish and working your way out.
-- Put a piece of pepperoni and piece of cheese next to each other.
5.) Put it in the oven and watch as the cheese melts, your pepperoni dominoes fall! It only takes a few minutes.
It's fun and tasty! Give it a try! We are good at this!
** You should watch it with the oven door closed. Do not try this at home. I just did it to take a picture. You can see some of the pepperoni dominoes are falling. :)
They are fell down! :) It's a pretty arrangement for pepperoni dip too.
Yummy and cheesy!
