Deconstructed mini-Apple pie Dessert / Ice Cream Topping (Tip: Using Pie Crust Scraps)

This is a quick mini-dessert or ice cream topping I came up with using pie crust scraps.
If you have leftover pie crust or if it cracks, you can try this. :_ Another dessert idea for small pieces of pie crust is: mini Chocolate croissants.

What I used:
- Pillsbury pie crust scraps
- Apple (I used probably 1/3 or 1/4 of an apple; depending on how much you want to make you could use a whole apple)
- Brown sugar
- Butter
First, I baked some pie crust scraps. Since they are little, they bake fast -- 5-7 min.
While the pie crust scraps were in the oven, I cut some apple into small chunks and then I added some brown sugar and butter and mixed them together.
Then I microwaved it for about 1 min. 15 sec. or 1 min. 30 sec. until the apples were softer.
When the pie crusts were done (5-7 min.), I plated it like this to look fancy! Haha! :)
And also you can have it as a yummy Apple Pie ice cream topping. I went a little heavy with the cinnamon there in the ice cream photo. Haha! :)
That's it! Give it a try! We are good at this!
