Chicken Parm Crumble Pasta
This is example of using brown butter garlic panko breadcrumbs crumble/crust that I mentioned in a previous poast. If you don't feel like breading your chicken or meat or if you just want to add some texture to your dish, then you can easily make this savory crumble crust. It sounds fancy, but it's really easy!
I learned about this from learning how to make a dish inspired by Fairy Tale Day! This is pasta inspired by Rumpelstiltskin -- turning straw into gold. Haha! :) One reason I like to do these fun holidays is it makes me smile and also it inspires me to be more creative and learn new skills.
What I used:
- Panko butter breadcrumbs
- Garlic powder
- Italian seasoning
- Prego Tomato Sauce
- Rotisserie Chicken
- Angel Hair protein+
- Kraft Mozzarella +
- butter (~1 tablespoon)
Make some angel hair pasta and drain the pasta. Add chicken, some sauce on top and some mozzarella cheese on top. Microwave for 1 min. 15 sec. 1 min. 30 sec. or until the cheese melted.
In a non-stick pan, turn it on medium / medium-high and put the butter in. Allow the butter to melt and add ~2 tablespoons of bread crumbs. You can add as much as you like. You want the bread crumbs to be lightly covered by butter. Add in the garlic powder and Italian seasoning (to taste). Every 2 or 3 minutes, shift the breadcrumbs around, so they can all get golden brown.
Add your golden breadcrumbs on top!
These are the breadcrumbs when you are just starting to cook them.
Here it is!
Give it a try! We are good at this!
