Cheese & Chive Bisquick Biscuits (Part 1)

I was going to make biscuits from scratch, but I didn't have flour, but I did have Bisquick. So I just used the recipe on the Bisquick box.

This is one of the first things I made that I documented on this website in 2019. My photos and cooking have come a LONG way in a relatively short time. Haha! :)


I added leftover cheese and chives in the fridge for more flavor.

What I used (1/2 recipe):

- Bisquick mix (1 1/8 cup)

- 1/3 cup of whole milk

- Shredded parmesan

- Goat cheese

- Chives ( chopped)

I mixed together the batter/dough and baked it at 450 degrees on a sheet with cooking spray on it.

Tip: You do not want to overmix the batter/dough. You just want it to come together. If you mix it too much, the biscuits will be more dense.

These were larger biscuits, so I let them bake for ~14 min. instead of 10 min. as on the package.

Yummy fluffy biscuits! So easy!

Also I typically, make biscuits in the evening before breakfast.

Tip: The next day after you make biscuits, if you put a wet paper towel on top of the biscuits and microwave for 30-40 seconds, then it will steam the biscuits and they won't be dry.
