Can I Make [Turkey] Ham, Cheese, & Pesto Sunflower Bread?

This was actually from a Ham & Cheese compilation video on Twisted's YouTube channel, but I substituted turkey. :) I liked the shape and design of the dish, so I wanted to give it a try.
This is an example of how you can put your own twists on cooking videos or recipes. They were making a big one for a party; I made a mini-version for lunch. Some other differences were that they used bread dough and I just used pre-made pie crust to make it faster and I also had lots of different cheese around which I used.
Attempt #1:

- Pillsbury pie crust
- Turkey (or Ham)
- Cheese (they used fresh mozzarella)
- I had gruyere, mozzarella and cheddar around
- Cibo Pesto
I put layer of pesto, cheese, turkey, then more cheese as depicted in the photos. Then I covered this with a second piece of pie dough and brushed on some more pesto.
To make the sunflower, I cut slices into the ring circumferentially and then twisted each piece.
Then I baked it at 400 degrees for ~15 min.

RESULT: Success! :)
We are good at this! It was really good. It's like a little bit fancier pesto sandwich. :) It was really easy to make; prep time was ~3-5 min. and then you just put it in the oven. This was a mini-version, but you could easily make a large version for a party.
Give it a try! We are good at this!
