Can I Make "Ridiculously Easy Olive Oil Rosemary Crackers"?
Updated: Aug 24, 2020
When I saw these "Ridiculously Easy Olive Oil Rosemary Crackers" on Pinterest from cafesucrefarine.com, they looked really good and I like anything that says "ridiculously easy" in the name. I had some brie I needed to eat and no crackers or bread! I was thinking of baking some bread when I came across these...and I couldn't believe they were made from egg roll wrappers!
There is nothing more French than cheese (& wine too, haha! :) ). Btw, it's Bastille Day!
Another reason I wanted to do this was because my Urban Gardening Experiment has been going really well overall (link)...but there's a BUT. Haha! :) So I have fresh basil all the time and most of my little seedlings are coming along. I decided to get a rosemary plant. But somehow I kind of killed it, so it was a good time to use the fresh rosemary I had left before the plant completely died. Haha! :) RIP Rosemary plant.
What I used:
- Egg roll wrappers
- Olive oil
- Fresh rosemary
I preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
You can cut them any shape, but you can get 8 nice rectangular crackers from one egg roll wrap. I sprinkled with oil, salt and rosemary and then bake them for 5-7 minutes. That's it!
RESULT: Success! :)
We are good at this! They are so good! I couldn't believe how easy they are to make and each cracker only has 10-15 calories. This was only 2 egg roll wrappers, but a lot of crackers!
It's quick and easy to make fresh crackers! I have also made another Cafe Sucre Farine recipe for artisan rolls (link and photo at the bottom)
Give it a try! We are good at this!
