Can I Make "Pasta With Brown Butter, Whole Lemon, and Parmesan"?

This Bon Appetit recipe looked good & used lemon in a savory dish and also in a new way that I hadn't tried -- with whole lemon! I love lemon flavor as I have mentioned before. I add lemon juice to a lot of things and more recently I have baked a couple lemon cakes (links)
I also made it because I had all the ingredients in my place -- only 6!
1 lb. short tube pasta (such as paccheri or rigatoni)
8 Tbsp. (1 stick) unsalted butter, cut into pieces, divided
1 small regular lemon or Meyer lemon, very thinly sliced into rounds, seeds removed
1 oz. Parmesan, finely grated, plus more for serving
Freshly ground black pepper
I made a smaller individual portion.
I cut the lemon into slices and sauted them in butter. I cooked rigatoni separately in a pot with generously salted water (not shown.)
Then I added the pasta and parmesan and the parmesan melted and everything came together.
RESULT: Success! :)
We are good at this! How good does that look? The Bon Appetit photos always look so nice and mine turned out pretty well compared to theirs. :) It's really good, simple and easy to make -- and fancy looking! It uses lemon in a different way than you might have thought.
