Can I Make "Naan"?

I love Naan! Whenever I get Indian food, I always get an extra order, haha! I made a Bombay inspired Burger and I thought it would be fun to eat it on Naan.
Anyways, I know it's made in a tandoori oven, which I don't have, but I saw this recipe on the Food Network from Aarti Sequeira where she uses a cast iron pan, so I thought I'd try it!

I just made a half-batch for myself.

What I used:
- 1 cup of flour
- 1 1/2 tablespoon of Greek yogurt
- 1/2 teaspoon of yeast
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- 1/16 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 3/8 cup of hot water
I let the yeast get frothy by mixing it with water and half the sugar. I usually microwave water from the tap for 15-17 seconds. You don't want it to be too hot or it might kill the yeasties. However, I think if it's too cold that it won't activate them.
Then I added the yogurt and oil to it.
In the other bowl, I sifted some flour, baking powder.
Then I mixed them together and made the dough. You let it rest for 2 hours.
After 2 hours, it puffed up! I got a cast iron pan on the stove and put it on high.
Then I rolled out some pieces of dough.

Here is one in the pan!
RESULT: Success! :)
We are good at this! The naan turned out well and tasted really good! As I mentioned above, I decided to make it because I was making a Bombay Burger. Photos below and check out that post.
