Can I Make, "Killer Grilled Pork Chop Marinade"?
Updated: Aug 24, 2020
This pork chop marinade on Pinterest from cravingtasty.com looked good, killer even. And it used some ingredients I had in new way: like fish sauce and soy sauce.
I just made the marinade before I went to sleep and put it in the fridge for the next day.
What I used:
- Pork chop
- Garlic Powder
- Onion Powder
- Fish sauce
- Soy sauce
- Brown sugar
- Lemon juice (should be lime juice, but I had a lemon.)
The recipe calls for chopped garlic and onions, but I didn't feel like chopping, so I just used garlic powder and onion powder. :)
I just looked at the recipe again and it called for the pork chop to be thinly sliced. I didn't realize that. I would have left it anyways. Haha! :)
It was really easy. I just put the pork chop in a plastic bag and added all the ingredients.
Then I went to bed.
I used my Lodge grill pan and turned it up to high on the stove.
Look at those grill marks!
RESULT: Success! :)
We are good at this! The marinade was really good and it was easy to throw together. There was some funkiness from the fish sauce and saltiness from soy sauce with some acid from lemon juice and a little sweetness from the brown sugar.
Give it a try! We are good at this!
