Can I Make "Easy Peach Cobbler"? / Roald Dahl Day

For Roald Dahl Day, I decided to make peach cobbler as an homage to James & the Giant Peach. :) This Easy Peach Cobbler from TidyMom.net on Pinterest looked good. I made a mini version.

Roald Dahl Day
I loved Roald Dahl's books growing up. I think Matilda was my favorite Roald Dahl book. My parents were nothing like Matilda's and I was never bullied as a kid, but she liked to read and so did I...But it was harder to think of what to make for Matilda, so I went with the peach cobbler for James & the Giant Peach. Haha! :)
I actually did make a full batch of cobbler batter, but I made 3 different flavors. I'll post about the other ones later. I only used 1/3 of the batter to make a mini-cobbler in this size oven-safe dish with 1 peach.

What I used:
- 1 peach
- Flour
- Sugar
- Brown sugar
- 1 egg
- Milk
- Butter
- Baking Powder
- Cinnamon
- Nutmeg
It says to heat the dish and melt the butter in the hot oven. I just microwaved the dish for 45 seconds for the butter to melt.
I haven't made cobbler before and I was wondering. In the recipe it says: DO NOT STIR after a couple of the steps.
I made the batter and then I added it to the dish with the melted butter WITHOUT STIRRING! I was wondering how this was going to turn out...

I added cinnamon, nutmeg, and some sugar to the chunks of peaches.
Then I added the peaches on top.

I added some brown sugar.

Then I baked it! I added some ice cream too. Yum! I don't know what would happen if I stirred it, but I didn't and it turned out well! Haha! :)
Give it a try! We are good at this!
