Can I Make "Chicken Francese"?
This was inspired by @cookingwithtyanne on IG and her website, cookingwithtyanne.com! It looked tasty with the breading and I liked that there was lemon and Parmesan together. I had all the stuff pretty much and wouldn't have thought to put it together! :)
I made a smaller version for myself with just 1 chicken breast.
What I used:
- 1 chicken breast
- egg (for dipping)
- shredded Parmesan
- True Lemon powder packets
- Chicken ramen seasoning (like chicken bouillon instead of chicken stock)
- Chili Flakes
- Garlic Powder
In her recipe, she uses lemon juice, but I just used True Lemon powder packets, which I find you can use interchangeably for lemon juice if you don't have fresh lemons around. :)
Since I was just making 1 chicken breast for myself, I used part of the egg for dipping a chicken breast in a separate bowl and then the rest of the egg I made into scrambled egg, which I ate separately. Haha! :) Note: I did not eat the egg after it was dipped in the chicken; I separated out some egg into a bowl (for dipping the chicken) then the rest of it I scrambled to eat.
Then I dipped it in flour and browned it.
Then I made the sauce with Garlic Powder, Lemon Powder, Chicken Ramen Seasoning, and Chili Flakes.
Yum! It's really tasty with the lemon sauce with some Parmesan and some chili flakes too. Give it a try! We are good at this!
