Can I Make "Cheesy Waterfall Mug Rigatoni"?
Updated: Aug 27
This is a really fun easy & pretty looking dish to make that I saw on YouTube from Tastemade. They call it "Pasta Mug Rigatoni" if you look for it.
The fun part and the show -- is how you get the cheese on top!
What I used:
- Rigatoni (cooked)
- Marinara Sauce
- I used fresh, but they use shredded mozzarella and I think that may work even better.
- Pesto (if you don't have it, no biggie)
- They use a mug. I didn't have a mug and I found that using this little water/highball glass makes it even more fun & dramatic. :)
Preheaet oven to 350 degrees. You just put a little marinara sauce in and pesto, then you're cheese, then you place your rigatoni standing up as in the picture.
You put more cheese on top (which becomes the bottom).
Then you just bake it for 10-15 min. or so until the cheese is nice and melt-y.
RESULT: Success! :)
We are good at this! Then there is the show and the fun part!
Put your plate on top of the glass and flip! See video below. :)
The result is a beautiful pasta dish!
