Can I Make Apple "Muffin Tin Cinnamon Roll Pies"?

These mini-apple pies / cinnamon rolls from a Twisted YouTube video looked good and had a pretty design, so I wanted to try to make them. :)
Attempt #1:
What I used (Yield: 6 mini-apple pies):

Filling:
- pre-cut Apple Slices that I chopped up (1/2-3/4 cup)
- 1/4 cup of sugar
- 1-2 tablespoons of flour
- 1 tablespoon of cinnamon (or more; I accidentally put a lot. Haha! :)
Crust:
- 1 piece of Pillsbury pie dough
- 1 - 1 1/2 tablespoons of melted butter
- 1-2 tablespoons of cinnamon
So 1/2-3/4 cup of chopped apple + 1 piece of Pillsbury pie dough = 6 mini-apple pies.

I chopped up some apples. I got a headstart by starting with apple slices. I made the filling. Ooops, put a lot of cinnamon in. :)
I put melted butter and cinnamon on the pie crust. Then I rolled it up and chopped it into pieces -- like making cinnamon rolls.
I placed a few pieces on top of a paper cupcake cup for the bottom of the mini-pie. I find using a paper cupcake cup when making tarts makes it easier to get out of the muffin pan.
I didn't have enough dough to make the full design like in the video, so I just put one swirl on top of each mini-pie.
Here is another image of them before they went in the oven. I baked them at 400 degrees for ~18 min.

RESULT: Success! :)
We are good at this! They were good! The mini-apple pie is great because it is satisfying and a small portion.
Apple and cinnamon are a great combo, even when you add extra cinnamon. :) For another apple/cinnamon dessert, check out the "Applesauce-Stuffed Cinnamon Healthy Cake" I came up with after being inspired by a Twisted YouTube video with peanut-butter stuffed brownies.
