Buffalo Chicken Cheesy Hand Pie / Button Day

Here's a fun easy buffalo chicken cheesy handpie I made inspired by Button Day! This is shaped in a button, but obviously you can shape it in a traditional handpie / empanada or "Hot Pocket" shape or any shape you like! :)

Nov. 16 is Button Day!

"In case you may be thinking that buttons do not deserve their own holiday, try to imagine what life would be like without them. Sure, we have zippers and velcro, but could you imagine velcro down the front of your elegant blouse? Of course not!"


What I used:

- Pillsbury Pie Crust

- Valley Fresh Chicken

- Mozzarella (in string cheese)

- Wing sauce

- Circular cookie cutters (you can use a small circle plate)

- Butterknife

I preheat the oven to 400 degrees.

I used a circular plate and a buter knife to cut 2 circular pieces of pie crust -- 1 for the top and 1 from the bottom. I put chicken, cheese and wing sauce on the bottom piece.

Then I patted the edge of the pie crust with water.

On the top piece, I used this circular end of a pastry tool to poke a circular hole. To make it more defined, I went back in with the butterknife.
