Bratwurst Apple Stuffing

This is another version of the Bratwurst stuffing I made last year! August 16 is Bratwurst Day! This is a different way to use bratwurst! This can be a full meal or a side dish, a twist from your typical stuffing!


What I used:

- Johnsonville Beer Brats

- Pretzel Baron pretzel bites

- Granny smith apple

- 1/4 cup of chicken stock (for this portion) I actually used 1/4 cup of water mixed with chicken bouillon)

I tore the pretzel bites into smaller pieces. I took the brats out of the casing and spread small pieces of brat around. Then I cut the apple into smaller chunks and spread it around the mixture. I poured 1/4 cup of chicken stock on top.

Then I baked it at 400 degrees for ~10 min. or until the bratwurst is cooked.

That's it! You get crispy outside and soft inside! All the flavors meld together.
