BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger on No-Knead Cheesebread

This is a quick meal idea; good fit for Burger Day! I used No-Knead Cheesebread I made as hamburger buns.

Of course you could use hamburger buns or other bread. If you make a cheeseburger and if you use cheesebread, then you can get cheesiness in 2 places!

Aug. 27 is Burger Day!


What I used:

- Omaha Steaks Burger

- Hormel pre-made Bacon

- KC Masterpiece BBQ sauace

- Shredded Cheddar

- Cheesebread bun

As you may know from the different posts, I'm a big bacon fan. Some might say bacon saved my life. :) Anyways, I like to cook bacon, but this Fully Cooked Bacon is a quick way to add bacon to recipes.

I took the burger patty out of the freezer and put it in the fridge the day before I wanted to cook it. Then I left it on the counter before I wanted to cook it. It was cool to touch / almost room temp before I cooked it. Sometimes I defrost them in the microwave for 45 seconds or so. It's more important when I defrost a steak compared to a burger, but you don't want it to be too cold when you cook it (burnt on the outside / raw in the side), but you could also overcook it in the microwave when you are defrosting. Anyways, that's why I mention it. Haha! :)

Here I used a pan on medium-high and seared it for a couple minutes on the first side. I cover it with a pan lid. That's how I see them do it on TV like DDD (see post). Haha! :) Makes sense; it keeps the heat in.

After I flipped it, I added the cheese and then covered it again with pan lid. (Photo)


I added the bacon and BBQ sauce and put it on the cheesebread! Yum! That's it!

It took about 7-10 min. Give it a try! We are good at this!
