Asian-Inspired Pork and Fried Egg Rice Bowl
Updated: Aug 24, 2020

Here is a quick meal idea that is Asian-inspired. It can be eaten for lunch or dinner or breakfast!
If you hadn't had a fried egg yolk over white rice, it's good! I have typically thought of it with Filipino food or Vietnamese ood, but I think there are variations in all different types of Asian cooking.

What I used:
- Pork (that I had cooked and frozen in plain batches that I had written about to save time - link)
- Soy sauce
- Garlic paste (You could substitute garlic powder)
- Egg
- Rice (This Annie Chun's rice is already cooked and you just microwave it in 60 seconds).
For the pork, it was defrosted in the fridge and cooked, but cold. I put like a teaspoon of soy sauce and 1/4 tsp or 1/2 tsp of garlic paste on there and microwaved it for 90-120 seconds until it was warm.
Meanwhile I fried an egg on the stove, but I made sure I didn't cook it too much.
Then I put everything together! Yum! You get a surprising amount of flavor just by microwaving it really quickly.
Give it a try! We are good at this!
