Alfred Hitchcock Sharpie Marker Egg
Alfred Hitchcock, Master of Suspense, was afraid of eggs! Isn't that funny? He made all these scary movies and thrillers -- and the thing that scared him was eggs!
“I’m frightened of eggs, worse than frightened, they revolt me. That white round thing without any holes … have you ever seen anything more revolting than an egg yolk breaking and spilling its yellow liquid? Blood is jolly, red. But egg yolk is yellow, revolting. I’ve never tasted it.”
I think he would think it was funny that I made an egg with his silhouette on it for Alfred Hitchcock Day. I also made a cookie!
I just started a new artistic endeavor using eggshells as canvases. You can read about it here.
I just used a Sharpie Marker like I did on these eggs. I got the idea from Pinterest from Paper & Stitch website.
It's so fun & easy!
I actually tried to make a template using parchment paper like I did before, but it turned out that the one I just free-sketched looked better than the one I made with a template. I mean, he still kind of looks like Easter Island / The Simpsons Alfred Hitchcock, but you get the idea. Haha! :)
